There is a great line in a movie I watched a long time ago in which one of the characters says “…good things take time, but great things happen all at once.” Tom said that everything came together so quickly and perfectly for this wedding that he couldn’t believe it. It was our pleasure to capture Tom and Beth’s perfect day!

This wedding at The Delta Queen at Coolidge Park in Chattanooga, Tennessee was incredible. It was fun shooting Amy and Johnny’s engagement photos, and shooting their wedding was picture perfect!

It was awesome meeting up with Mary and Mike again at Rock City and Grandview on Lookout Mountain, Georgia with their new addition for family photos. I wish I had the opportunity to do this for more of my clients. It’s hard to believe that we shot their wedding about three years ago!

Jessica and Glenn tied the knot at Rossville Church of Christ! With music from Star Wars for the groom’s entry to a Storm Trooper salute at the reception, this wedding was fun and fun was had by all. Jessica and Glen had family and friends surrounding them, supporting them and encouraging them. We heard many comments about how great they are as a couple and that always makes it fun for us. We worked to capture the joy of the day. We thought we’d entered a “Dancing with the Stars” competition at the bride and groom’s first dance; it was amazing! The Niko’s reception was beautiful and an amazing spread of food and drink. It was a pleasure to work with this couple and their friends and family.

Last week I had the opportunity to shoot engagement photos for Amy and Johnny. What a great couple! We hiked about a half mile into Cloudland Canyon State Park on Lookout Mountain, Georgia. Here are a few of my favorites from the session:

We had a wonderful time shooting Sarah and Chris’ wedding at First Centenary United Methodist Church in downtown Chattanooga, TN. It was a joy to share this special day with such great people. The weather was wonderful. Following the wedding, we shot the reception at the the Legendary Delta Queen, which is now moored in Chattanooga.

I’ve heard it said that good things take time, but great things happen all at once. Brooke and Steve’s wedding at Grandview on Lookout Mountain, Georgia was great in many ways. #1: Two awesome people tied the knot. #2: The weather was in the 60′s in January! #3: The wedding was held at our favorite venue – Grandview. In addition this, Brooke and Steve also hired us to shoot their rehearsal dinner at The Cafe on the Corner which was also on Lookout Mountain. Since I don’t have the Cafe’s permission, I won’t include those here. There’s a LOT more that can be said about what was great about this day, but instead of going on forever, here are a few shots that tell the story.

I met another wonderful couple at Grandview yesterday evening. It was a little colder than expected, but they toughed it out and I think we were able to get some really good shots. I am very excited to be shooting their wedding this spring!

On Saturday I had the pleasure of shooting a dear friend’s wedding. The wedding took place at Saint Jude Catholic Church in Chattanooga, Tennessee. It was wonderful to see old friends, and meet new ones. It was especially awesome to see these two great people finally tie the knot!
