We shot another wonderful wedding on Lookout Mountain last Saturday, Feb. 27. Other than the chill factor, it was a beautiful day for wedding photography! Everyone that was involved in this wedding was so nice to work with. The flowers provided by Nat’s Florist & Gift Shop in Trenton, Georgia looked gorgeous. The food (although we didn’t have time to taste any) looked wonderful; and most importantly the bride, groom, friends and family were all having a great time. The only time we sensed any problems whatsoever was when the groom was zapped with a taser gun repeatedly by his mischievous buddies – this was a first for us! We wish Leah & Sean all the best!

We were pretty sure James and Emily ordered the perfect day for an outdoor wedding, and it was this last Saturday at Grandview. The greenery was so green, a tiny bit of wind (but not cold) sunny (but not the kind of sunny that makes you squint). It was delightful to be outdoors on such a day and even more delightful to be a part of such a precious wedding. Everything about this wedding was perfect and beautiful. We loved being there and are really happy with the beautiful photos James and Emily will have to cherish. Congratulations, you two!

Becky and Benji had a great time getting married this past Sunday! The weather was fantastic (this weekend’s folks aren’t as lucky) and Grandview looked gorgeous, but not as gorgeous as Becky. This wedding also wins the award for the most little babies and pregnant women. Everywhere we turned there were very cute tiny people and very cute pregnant women!
This couple is fun and spontaneous. It was fun to shoot them in their “candid” moments when you could really see who they are and how much they care for one another. We had a blast and got lots of great shots to show for it.

I had a great time shooting these engagement photos for Kerry and DJ at Bear Creek on Lookout Mountain. The location was right down the road from Cloudland Canyon State Park.

Tom and Laura had a lot of attendants, a lot of family and tons of friends. This made the wedding this last weekend especially fun and festive. Covenant Presbyterian Church is an amazing church and so perfect for a large wedding; we were thrilled with how the pictures turned out (it’s always a little intimidating to take pictures in such a huge place)! Camp Dixie was another brand new venue for Evearitt Photography and it was gorgeous and air conditioned. We saw a lot of old friends and had a great time. Congratulations, Tom and Laura!

We had a awesome time shooting Susan and Russell’s wedding at Grandview on Lookout Mountain, Georgia. The people were so nice, it felt like family. It is always a pleasure to shoot weddings like this for such wonderful people and their friends and family.

Though our photography team grew up on Lookout Mountain, we had never been inside the Lookout Mountain Baptist Church until this past Friday, where we did the pictures for David and Allison’s wedding. This darling couple looks young, but they are both college graduates (I think maybe we’re just getting older so everyone is starting to look younger)! They were a lovely couple and their family and friends were so excited to be celebrating this wedding. We met a family there with 10 children and got lots of great pictures of everyone having a wonderful time. The reception took place at the Rock City Pavilion, which is the perfect place for outdoor celebrations when the group is larger than Grandview can accommodate. Congratulations, David and Ali! May you continue to have the stars in your eyes for each other which we were privileged to see on Friday.

We had a great time with Becky and Ryan at The Chattanoogan Hotel last Saturday. Every detail was perfect (Becky even had matching “getting ready” sweats for her bridesmaids). The word of the day was “sparkly” and as you can see from these pictures, it was the right word. The folks at The Chattanoogan were great to work with. It is such a spacious venue, and it really is neat being downtown.
Becky and Ryan and both of their families were delightful to work with. Again, when everyone is this gorgeous, it’s just too easy to get loads of great pictures!

As a photographer, you can’t ask for better than a lovely couple on a gorgeous day. We had that and more this last Thursday with Erin and Daniel’s wedding at Grandview. This couple planned a smaller and more intimate wedding but it lacked none of the elegance of a larger event! Cute kids, beautiful flowers, fun food and cake and just a great group of people.

It was the perfect day for a wedding! Low humidity, mild temperature and most importantly no rain for the first time in quite a while.
We met Janet and Jesse at Grandview at 1:00 and spent the next nine hours shooting their day. After traveling down to Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church in downtown Chattanooga for the ceremony, we headed back up Lookout Mountain for the reception at Grandview.
Let me just say that both places were a joy to shoot. The architecture, stained glass windows and so many more details at Saints Peter and Paul made for awesome wedding photos. They even had a nice little hallway that served as a mini studio for a few photos of the bride and groom both before and after the wedding. They had a fabulous string quartet play for the ceremony called Amabilé Strings whom we strongly recommend to anyone in the market.
By the time we headed back up to Grandview we had a TON of great shots, and the question was “since we had so many photos already, how much more could we possibly get?” As I have said many times Grandview is the greatest place in Chattanooga for a wedding. I got to meet and photograph the many wonderful friends and family of Janet and Jesse. There was wonderful food, dancing and plenty of fun which should make this a day to remember for this wonderful couple!
