Meg & Tim’s Wedding at Rockcreek Fellowship

Tim and Meg had a lovely summer wedding at Rock Creek Fellowship. Plenty of beautiful people, children and nature made for great shots all evening. The service was touching and evidenced by wet cheeks in the photos which followed! Everything about the ceremony was very natural, tender and celebratory. All of the many friends and family in attendance seemed to be very closely connected to the bride and groom. It really gave a feeling of intimacy to the entire event.

The reception after was at beautiful Rock City Gardens on Lookout Mountain, GA. We love going to Grandview at Rock City for the ease of the facility and the pavilion at Rock City is no different in terms of beauty and convenience, it’s just a lot bigger! Many, many thanks to Rock City’s owners who afforded their amazing back yard to the new bride and groom (whom they know). I’m not sure there is a better view on Lookout Mountain. Congratulations Tim and Meg!

Helen & Ian’s Wedding at Lookout Pres

We had the pleasure of documenting a gorgeous wedding for Helen and Ian at Lookout Mountain Presbyterian Church on Saturday, June 14, 2008. Rain or shine, Lookout Mountain Pres. is a stunning location for a wedding. The rain managed to hold off most of the day, and we even got some blue sky which was great for a few outdoor photos.

It was a lot of fun working with Ian and Helen and their friends and family! There is quite a story to tell, but here is the gist of it: Ian was in a four wheeler accident just days before the wedding. He decided that he wasn’t going to let a small thing like a broken collar bone ruin this big day, so he stuck it out with pain meds that made him a little delirious and had a great time - and these wedding photos prove it!

Here are a few of our favorite photos from their wedding:

I promised Helen’s mom that I wouldn’t post these until after the wedding because she wanted Ian to be surprised at how gorgeous she looked. So here are a few from the photo session at Lookout Mountain Presbyterian Church. More photos from their wedding will be posted soon!

Elizabeth & Andrew’s Wedding at Grandview

It was a beautiful day for a wedding at Grandview on Lookout Mountain, Georgia. Andrew and Elizabeth make such a wonderful couple, and it was also a pleasure to meet their friends and family.

Since there was not a wedding coordinator, things did get a little chaotic; however, Shonda stepped in and saved the day in many ways. I can’t begin to explain how important it is to have someone in Shonda’s role (photographic coordination & planning) to ensure everything goes smoothly on this big day!

Ann & Drew’s Wedding at St. Andrews

I always try to post to this blog within a week of each wedding we shoot, but I’m late in this case. I took a quick holiday to Pensacola Florida with the family literally right after the wedding, but I’m back and have just finished tweaking all Ann & Drew’s photos. I think they turned out excellent.

Here’s a brief recap. It was an awesome wedding at St. Andrews Center in downtown Chattanooga Tennessee (next to Tennessee Temple). The reception was at the Bessie Smith Performance Hall in downtown Chattanooga.

Since we are pretty close to the minister, we recorded the ceremony so you could hear how great it was.

We have a TON of great shots from the wedding and reception, but as always are forced to just put a few on the blog. So, with that said, here are some of our favorites from the day:

Things have been extremely busy for Evearitt Photography! I drove down to Atlanta on Saturday, September 1 to shoot a wedding for some great friends of mine. The Brown family lives in Noble, Georgia (this is outside Chickamauga and LaFayette). They attend St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church in Atlanta, Georgia. The wedding ceremony and mass was wonderful and I have some proof!

Here are a few photos that caught my eye from this wedding and reception:

Sonya & Devere’s Reception

Okay, so I wasn’t able to shoot the wedding - for some reason Sonya and Devere wouldn’t foot the bill to fly me with them to Aruba…but at least they invited me to Hixson, Tennessee (in Chattanooga) to shoot their reception.

I’m calling this thing a reception, but I think this event was officially titled “The Keller Luau.” Whatever you want to call it is fine by me…it was a lot of fun!

Here are a few of my favorite shots from the day:

Sarah & Jonathan’s Wedding at Patten Chapel

On Saturday, August 18, Shonda and I shot a double wedding for sisters Andrea and Sarah Sarine at UTC’s Patten Chapel located in downtown Chattanooga, Tennessee. You can check out the nice write up on this/these wedding(s) on Chattanoogan.com.

We had a great time working with everyone; this was by far the most challenging event we have ever shot. There were two other photographers shooting, and we had to get in sync so we didn’t trip over each other, yet ensure that this large event was properly documented. As challenging as it was, it was a pleasure to work with David Andrews, and his assistant Rachel. After going through most of our photos from the event, we are very pleased with the final product. You may notice that there are not any reception shots - we were not booked to shoot the reception.

We are dividing the wedding photos into two separate posts - in this post you’ll see some shots that focus on Sarah & Jonathan at Patten Chapel.
