Janet & Jesse’s Wedding at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church
It was the perfect day for a wedding! Low humidity, mild temperature and most importantly no rain for the first time in quite a while.
We met Janet and Jesse at Grandview at 1:00 and spent the next nine hours shooting their day. After traveling down to Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church in downtown Chattanooga for the ceremony, we headed back up Lookout Mountain for the reception at Grandview.
Let me just say that both places were a joy to shoot. The architecture, stained glass windows and so many more details at Saints Peter and Paul made for awesome wedding photos. They even had a nice little hallway that served as a mini studio for a few photos of the bride and groom both before and after the wedding. They had a fabulous string quartet play for the ceremony called Amabilé Strings whom we strongly recommend to anyone in the market.
By the time we headed back up to Grandview we had a TON of great shots, and the question was “since we had so many photos already, how much more could we possibly get?” As I have said many times Grandview is the greatest place in Chattanooga for a wedding. I got to meet and photograph the many wonderful friends and family of Janet and Jesse. There was wonderful food, dancing and plenty of fun which should make this a day to remember for this wonderful couple!

We absolutely loved the pictures, you have a real gift for capturing the right mixture of light and real emotion. Also, I was shocked at how many you took, but I’m really glad that you were there for the whole day, you didn’t miss a thing which was really important to me. Also, I really think it was a huge plus that you bring a coordinator with you. Having an assistant helped to make the day run a little smoother. We chose you because Shonda and you were so laid back, you didn’t have a lot of rules, it seemed like you were more concerned about what we wanted, than your art. Probably what was most important is that you didn’t make us purchase prints/an album from you. This made your services affordable while still having high quality photography, which was awesome, and rare! (I called a ton photographers in your area and got the “run around” about getting digital copies from them).
I would recommend you to anyone looking for a photographer. Keep up the good work. I would rate your services 9 out of 10 :-)
